Product Description

Dark chocolate mini cups or shot glasses (min. 56% cocoa solids) are 27mm (approx 1") diameter at the top, have a capacity of 10ml. They are often referred to as Snobinettes. To use with a chocolate mousse filling, you will need 2 x 800g bags of Callebaut Mousse Powder to fill a whole case of 270 chocolate mini cups . Perfect also for chocolate shot glasses at parties - so long as you realise these are 10ml shots and a "standard" shot is 25 to 30ml. Irish Cream Liqueur seems to work especially well. Imported from Belgium. There are 270 pieces in each catering pack.

Ravico was founded in 1907 providing food supplies to the Belgian Colonies. The name comes from the french “Ravitaillement Colonial”. Today, this 100% family owned company has expanded the business to produce and a full range of Belgian Specialities all over the world, including many Belgian Chocolate such as chocolate cups, couverture and chocolate decorations, as well as baking ingredients like icing sugars.

  1. Great product. 10% arrived damaged.

    Posted by on

I have ordered dark choc snobinettes many times before and for the first time, exactly 5 in each tray of 45 were broken. No pattern, edge or middle. unbroken outer carton and blue bag. No sign of rough handling. But 30/270 arrived broken.
I will order again as they make a damn fine canals tiramisu, and will write off 10% to be used as decoration, but it is the first time this has happened .
great product, prompt delivery, stunned clients etc.

  5. Awesome! Bailey's shotglasses

    Posted by on

Hello! I don't normally take the time to review, but have become more reliant on them. So thought I'd help you by telling you this product is awesome!

I've served around 800 cups to event professionals in London at 3 different networking events and at each they were all floored by these innovative edible cups.

Guest were gob-snacked that they could eat the cups. It had a great effect!!

    Tips:

You need around 1 litre of Bailey's per 270 cups (I used Irish Meadows - from Makro or Tesco at £6.95 per litre instead of £25)

I only filled the cups 1/4 to 1/2 full - any more and it's too much in the mouth at once, and all-in-one is encouraged, instead of taking a shot, then eating.

I told people to place the cup side down on their tongue and bite the bottom off with their teeth - although it was more fun to see how each person did it!

You can do up as many as you like, and leave them in the trays, but don't be sloppy with your pours, as they will stick to your serving dish (a few of the bottoms tore off and covered my guest) when I used a cream/milk pourer and filled each, it was absolutely fine.

It took me about 20 min to fill 100 cups.

When I needed to do 400 in one go (30 min) I used a squeeze bottle and it made the cups stick to my serving dish. But my squeeze bottle had a small leak.

I fixed this by using cocktail napkins between the serving tray and cups.

These also need to be displayed on a white background.

I special ordered 20x35 trays - which were the perfect size.
